Ant Renamer is a free (really free, i.e. the source code is available) program that makes easier the renaming of lots of files and folders by using specified settings. It supports Unicode names.

Note that it is an old project, started in 2003: this application is still maintained to keep it running, but it is based on old tools and does not take advantage of new features of latest Windows versions.

A new version has been rewritten in C++/Qt by Morfredus for a better support of Windows 10/11 and Linux.
